Plundering #Yemen’s history – Lack of will of the government to protect heritage sites means the problem is getting worse via @AFP

Despite the threat of a fine or five years in jail, Yemen’s cultural artefacts are still being illegally sold and trafficked out of the country. And the lack of security at archaeological sites means the problem is getting worse.
